The Role
We are seeking a permanent full-time Farm Attendant to join our team at our Mission Beach Prawn Farm. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and wants to build a long-term career in aquaculture with Australia's leading seafood producer.
Reporting to the Farm Manager, you'll play a key role in daily farm operations, supporting prawn health, maintaining water quality, and ensuring the efficient and safe running of the farm.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily farm operations, including pond remediation, feeding, aeration, and water quality monitoring.
Support prawn health assessments and biosecurity practices to ensure optimal growth conditions.
Maintain accurate farm records using iPads and digital systems.
Operate farm equipment (training provided; prior experience advantageous).
Follow food safety, environmental, and workplace safety protocols.
Work across day, afternoon, night shifts, and weekends as per roster requirements.
Role Requirements
Comfortable with physical work and able to work in hot, humid, and wet environments, including entering ponds when required.
Strong observational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable to varying shift work.
Hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport to site.
Comfortable using iPads and digital systems for record-keeping.
Forklift, backhoe, excavator or truck licences are advantageous but not essential.
Tertiary qualifications in Aquaculture are desirable but not required.
