We're looking for a Value Stream Technical Supervisor – Plastics to lead our technical, trades, and reliability teams across the plastics value stream. You'll own asset performance, tooling readiness, automation support, and capital project delivery across moulding, preform, blow moulding, and downstream assets.
This is a role for someone who combines deep plastics manufacturing knowledge with a genuine appetite for AI, digital tools, automation, and change leadership.
- Leading maintenance and reliability execution across moulding machines, preform, blow moulding, downstream automation, and associated utilities
- Reducing reactive maintenance through disciplined PM, tooling care, defect elimination, and failure prevention
- Driving root cause analysis on critical equipment failures, recurring stops, scrap events, and process instability
- Leading the safe introduction, optimisation, and support of robotic and automated systems across plastics and end-of-line handling
- Supporting capital projects from business case through to commissioning and handover
- Using CMMS, machine data, and AI-enabled insights to identify trends in downtime, scrap, recurring faults, and improvement opportunities
- Building team capability in automation awareness, digital discipline, data literacy, and troubleshooting
- Supporting autonomous maintenance, strengthening operator and setter ownership of basic equipment care
- Leading your team through change, embedding new technologies and smarter ways of working
- Trade or technical background with experience in plastics manufacturing maintenance and reliability
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, asset reliability, and maintenance systems in high-speed environments
- Demonstrated leadership capability in a technical, maintenance, or plastics manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of CMMS, planning, and work order management
- Experience with root cause analysis, defect elimination, and continuous improvement
- Ability to coordinate across operations, setters, production, planning, and engineering
- Exposure to automation, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and digital tools
- Capability to lead through change and build team capability in new ways of working
