We are looking for a caring and reliable Cook & Educator Assistant to join our team. This is a unique role supporting both our kitchen operations and our educators in creating a warm, nurturing environment for children.
The successful applicant will assist with preparing meals and supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen, while also providing support as a floater educator across our rooms during the morning.
About the role:
- Prepare and assist with meals and kitchen duties for children
- Support educators across different rooms as an additional team member
- Assist with creating a safe, engaging and positive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with educators to meet children’s needs
- Morning shifts available (exact hours can be discussed during the interview)
About you:
- Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Current childcare industry requirements, including:
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
- Child Protection and Safety training
- Other required compliance certificates
- Passionate about supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and development
- Reliable, flexible, and a positive team player
