Casual Student Transport Driver – MLC Gymnastics
MLC is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Casual Student Transport Driver to support our Gymnastics Program by transporting students between the MLC Campus in Kew and external venues in Toorak, Windsor, and Oakleigh.
This role involves driving a 21–25 seater bus during morning, school day, and after school hours, with shifts available Monday to Friday.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young people, is dependable, and can work independently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. We are seeking candidates who are available to commence as soon as possible.
About the Role You will drive a 21–25 seat bus and safely transport students to and from gymnastics training sessions, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for all passengers.
Typical shifts are:
- Monday: 7.40am – 9.40am
- Tuesday: 7.40am – 9.40am, 12.15pm – 2.15pm and 4.15pm – 6.15pm
- Wednesday: 9.15am – 11.15am and 2.00pm – 4.00pm
- Thursday: 7.40am – 9.40am
- Friday: 7.40am – 9.40am
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport and supervise students to and from training venues.
- Complete attendance records for each trip.
- Ensure all passengers follow vehicle safety requirements.
- Work independently while maintaining professionalism and sound judgement.
About you:
- A full driver's licence and Light Rigid Licence.
- A current Employee Working with Children Check.
- First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management certificates (or be willing to obtain).
