About the Role
We’re looking for a warm, dedicated, and reliable Permanent Educator to join our team at Journey Fernvale in our Senior Toddler room. In this role, you’ll create engaging, play‑based experiences that support children as they build confidence, develop independence, and strengthen social skills in a calm, nurturing environment.
You’ll build strong, trusting relationships with children and families, support consistent routines, and work closely with a supportive Centre Leadership Team who will guide your growth within a close‑knit, community‑focused centre.
This is a permanent part‑time opportunity, across Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
Support play‑based learning aligned with the EYLF
Create a calm, structured environment that supports independence and development
Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive team culture
Assist with observations and documentation
Work collaboratively within a supportive team
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and care
About You
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential)
Must have completed National Child Safety Training
Experience working with toddlers and supporting their development
Warm, caring, and relationship‑focused approach
Reliable and team‑oriented
Strong communication skills
Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
