Being in a business support role at Australia Post means helping our people deliver for every Australian. Just like our Posties, you’re still the people behind every parcel. Whatever your team or role, you’re helping grow our people, grow our business and making a lasting impact on the Australian community. You’ll find a culture of connection in our great people and the flexibility to balance work with life outside of it.
The opportunity
eCommerce is the growth engine of our business, and this role sits right at its centre.
Australians spent $21.9 billion online in a single quarter, even through cost of living pressure, choosing convenience and value over holding back. Online marketplaces alone drove $18.9 billion in spend in 2025, with 73% of online shoppers buying through them. More than 42% of all online transactions now happen through marketplaces, up 17% year on year.
Shopper behaviour is shifting fast. Baskets are smaller, at a record low average of $90, and 59% of shoppers say they never buy full price anymore. Whole categories are booming, from footwear at $1 billion to pet products at $1.4 billion and home and garden at $9.9 billion.
That is the market you will shape products for. And here is the part that matters most to customers: delivery experience is the single biggest driver of whether a shopper recommends us or not. Get the product right, and you improve millions of everyday delivery moments.
As Product Manager, you own the end-to-end management of a set of consumer eCommerce products. You will shape the vision and roadmap, spot opportunities to grow and innovate, and lead ideas from concept to launch and beyond. You will be the voice of the customer and the person who turns market signals into the world's best parcel product service.

- Turn customer, market and competitor insight into a clear roadmap and confident product decisions.
- Lead product initiatives across discovery, definition, delivery and results, balancing customer, commercial, operational and technology needs.
- Own the commercial performance of your products, tracking the numbers that matter and acting fast when they move.
- Build the business cases, own the assumptions, benefits and risks, and prove the value.
- Partner across sales, operations, technology, pricing, marketing and finance to bring cohesive products to life.
- Champion sustainability improvements across your product range.
What you'll bring
- Experience managing products end to end, from spotting the opportunity through to launch and impact.

- Strong commercial thinking, comfort with data, and the ability to make the numbers tell a story.
- The influence to win senior stakeholders over and defend your ideas with evidence.
- Curiosity, customer obsession and the resilience to lead change.
- Background in freight, logistics, retail, eCommerce, marketplace, delivery or fulfilment is highly regarded, though not essential.
- A product management background with relevant education.
