A minimum of two years of relevant industry experience is required as a hairdresser with either a Certificate III or Certificate IV in hairdressing.
Description of duties
· Cleaning, colouring, cutting, and styling wigs and hairpieces as needed per client requests
· Offering guidance on hair care, beard care, beauty products, and suitable hairstyles
· Cutting hair using multiple tools like - scissors, clippers, and razors as required
· Maintaining cleanliness in work areas for clients and sanitizing all tools used
· Styling hair and wigs into dreadlocks, braids, and adding hair extensions
· Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps for both men and women
· Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches as per client requests
· Scheduling appointments and handling payments from clients and other stakeholders
· Applying chemical treatments for hair colouring, permanent straightening, and permanent waving
· Clean work areas and ensure all surfaces and products are up to sanitary standards
· Schedule appointments, manage calendar activity and collect payments.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
