We are now seeking an enthusiastic and capable Duty Manger to support our leadership team.
The Role:
As a Duty Manager at The Oriental Hotel, you’ll play a key role in the smooth operation of each shift. You’ll lead by example, ensure our service is exceptional, support staff, handle customer needs, and maintain compliance and safety standards. This is a hands-on position in a vibrant, fast-paced, genuine Community venue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, including the opening and closing of the venue
- Lead and support Staff & Contractors
- Provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues when needed
- Maintain compliance with NSW liquor and gaming regulations and RSA standards
- Assist with staff training, mentoring, and performance feedback
- Support stock control, cash handling, and venue presentation
Requirements:
- Current NSW RSA and RCG
- Prior experience in a supervisory or duty manager role in hospitality
- Strong understanding of NSW liquor laws and safe service standards
- Confident communicator with leadership qualities
- Ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays
- Positive attitude, team mindset, and a passion for great customer service
