The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.
Purpose of the Role
The Project Risk Coordinator role is responsible for reporting to the Project Risk Manager, maintaining the Administrator duties for the ARM database and assist with risk assessment workshop preparation, recording and report drafting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working in a project delivery office environment.
- Ability to simplify complex matters and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience engaging with stakeholders, including presenting on initiatives and updates.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Exposure to Risk Management and related frameworks and methodologies (preferred).
Core Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Project Risk Manager, Snowy 2.0, the role will be responsible for maintaining quality risk input into the Active Risk Manager (ARM) risk management database and for maintaining the reporting functions for the Project Risk Management discipline. The report functions include internal Snowy 2.0 reporting and development of the inputs to presentations.
- The role will be responsible for maintaining the Administrator duties for the ARM database. This includes the allocation of licences to individuals, developing reports using filters and providing internal automated audit reports to stakeholders as required.
- The role will also assist with risk assessment workshop preparation, recording and report drafting. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, good organising skills and prior experience working in a project delivery environment.

Core Accountabilities
Risk Database Management and Quality
- Work with workstream leads and SMEs to manage risk input into ARM
- Work with workstream leads and SMEs to update status of risks, controls and actions
- Assist development of Risk presentations in collaboration with the Snowy 2.0 Project Risk Manager and Risk Coordinator
- ARM risk management software administrator duties to support Project Risk Coordinator as required
Risk Assurance Reporting & Governance
- Generate and file risk assurance reports using the ARM automated auditing functionality
- Engage with Snowy 2.0 Governance Manager to align reporting requirements with ARM report outputs.
- Ensure reports are generated and recorded to meet internal and external audit requirements as required
Risk Workshop Support
- Risk workshop preparation including brochure development
- Risk workshop scribing
- Risk register population and refinement post workshops
- Uploading of risk registers from workshops into ARM
Adhoc Initiatives
- Where required, provide support across the wider Project Risk team including:
- Development of presentation material
- Support project reviews / audits.
