We are looking for a qualified physiotherapist to provide flexible physiotherapy services across Canberra. Appointments may be delivered in clients’ homes or at your own suitable clinic or practice location.
This subcontractor opportunity would suit a physiotherapist seeking additional clients and the freedom to nominate their preferred days, hours and service area.
Pay and work structure
- $60 for each completed 45-minute physiotherapy appointment
- $70 for each completed 60-minute physiotherapy appointment
- Flexible days and appointment times
- Mobile work in clients’ homes or appointments at your clinic/practice
- Initial focus on Canberra and surrounding suburbs
- Hours depend on client demand and are not guaranteed
About the role
You will:
- Assess and treat clients with musculoskeletal, mobility and rehabilitation needs
- Provide physiotherapy in clients’ homes or at your own suitable clinic/practice
- Develop appropriate treatment and exercise programs
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and treatment plans
- Communicate professionally with clients and the wider team
- Manage your availability and accepted work independently
Requirements
- Recognised physiotherapy qualification
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Current ABN
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Driver licence and reliable vehicle for mobile appointments
- Australian working rights
- Police Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain them
- Strong communication and time-management skills
Mobile, private-practice or community physiotherapy experience is helpful but not essential. Experienced physiotherapists and confident early-career practitioners are encouraged to apply.
Contractor arrangement
This is a subcontractor opportunity. Payment is $60 per completed 45-minute appointment or $70 per completed 60-minute appointment. Hours depend on your availability, service location and client demand and are not guaranteed.
