We are currently seeking an experienced Painter / Blaster to join our client's team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with industrial painting and abrasive blasting experience who are committed to quality and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare metal surfaces.
- Mix, prepare, and apply industrial primers and protective coatings using spray equipment.
- Inspect prepared surfaces and coating thickness to ensure quality standards are met.
- Mask and protect areas not requiring blasting or painting.
- Safely operate and maintain blasting pots, compressors, spray guns, and associated equipment.
- Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) procedures, including correct PPE use and safe handling of paints and chemicals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as an Industrial Painter / Blaster.
- Experience with abrasive blasting and spray painting equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
- White Card (preferred).
- Forklift Licence and/or EWP Licence (advantageous but not essential).
