We're looking for an experienced and motivated Motorcycle Mechanic to join our growing workshop team.
About the Role
As a Motorcycle Mechanic, you'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining our fleet of motorcycles and scooters to the highest standard. You'll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy and available for customers while maintaining an organised and efficient workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on motorcycles and scooters.
- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Perform repairs including engines, brakes, suspension, steering, driveline and electrical systems.
- Inspect vehicles for safety and roadworthiness.
- Prepare new vehicles for fleet deployment.
- Complete pre-hire and post-hire inspections.
- Test ride vehicles where appropriate to confirm repairs.
- Accurately record work completed and parts used.
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment and a clean work environment.
- Order or identify parts required for repairs when needed.
- Assist with maintaining fleet availability by prioritising urgent repairs.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure vehicles are ready for customers.
About You
You'll be someone who takes pride in your workmanship and enjoys solving mechanical problems efficiently.
You'll ideally have:
- Qualification as a Motorcycle Mechanic or equivalent trade experience.
- Experience servicing and repairing motorcycles and scooters.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A positive, reliable and proactive attitude.
- Current driver's licence (motorcycle licence highly regarded).
