We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Manager Regulatory Services to lead the delivery of critical regulatory functions that support a safe, compliant and thriving community.
This is a key leadership role within the organisation, responsible for providing strategic direction, operational excellence and contemporary regulatory practices across a diverse portfolio. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Councillors, industry stakeholders and the community, you will ensure regulatory services are delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with legislative requirements and Council's strategic objectives.

Your qualifications & specialist knowledge will include:

Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as: Environmental Health, Public Health, Town Planning, Building Surveying, Compliance and Regulation, Law, Business, Public Administration or a related field.

Comprehensive understanding of local government regulatory functions, including
-
Demonstrated experience providing strategic leadership within a regulatory environment, including policy development, risk management, service planning, budget oversight and continuous improvement initiatives.

Highly developed stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, influence outcomes and provide expert advice to executives, councillors, government agencies and community members.

Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams, driving organisational change and delivering measurable service improvements in a complex operating environment.
