We provide tailored finance solutions to individuals, families and businesses across residential and investment lending, refinancing, personal and vehicle finance, and commercial lending.
Our team works closely with clients to understand their financial circumstances and borrowing objectives, identify appropriate lending options and assist them through the finance process from initial assessment through to application, approval and settlement.

The role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Broker to join our finance team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The role involves assessing clients' financial circumstances and borrowing requirements, researching and comparing available lending products, developing appropriate finance solutions and managing loan applications through to approval and settlement.
You will work directly with clients, banks and other lenders to identify suitable finance options, prepare and progress lending applications, and address any servicing, credit or documentation issues that arise throughout the lending process.
The role requires strong analytical capability, sound knowledge of lending products and lender requirements, and the ability to manage client matters accurately and professionally from initial enquiry through to settlement.
Key duties and responsibilities
· Conduct client fact-finding to identify borrowing objectives, financial circumstances and lending requirements, including reviewing income, expenses, assets and liabilities
· Assess clients' financial position and undertake borrowing capacity, serviceability and cash-flow analysis
· Research and compare available lending products, lender policies, interest rates, fees, loan features and servicing requirements
· Develop and recommend appropriate loan structures and finance solutions having regard to clients' circumstances and objectives
· Explain finance options, loan structures, repayment arrangements and relevant lending conditions to clients
· Prepare and submit residential, investment and other finance applications together with supporting financial information and documentation
· Liaise with clients, banks and other lenders regarding lending requirements, application assessment and finance options
· Monitor and manage applications through credit assessment, valuation, conditional approval, formal approval and settlement
· Identify and assist in resolving lending, servicing and documentation issues arising during the application process
· Maintain accurate client records, application documentation and file notes in accordance with applicable regulatory, credit and internal compliance requirements
· Maintain current knowledge of lender policies, lending products and developments within the finance and mortgage broking industry
Required qualifications and experience
· Relevant Diploma-level qualification in finance, mortgage broking or a closely related field, or higher relevant qualification
· Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in finance broking, mortgage broking, lending or a closely related role
· Demonstrated experience assessing clients' financial circumstances, borrowing requirements and lending capacity
· Sound knowledge of residential and investment lending products, lender policies and loan application processes
· Ability to research and compare lending products and develop finance solutions appropriate to individual client circumstances
· Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
· Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills
· High level of attention to detail and strong organisational and documentation skills
· Sound understanding of applicable lending, credit and compliance requirements
