About the role
Join SA Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Assistant or Senior Pharmacy Assistant and play an important role in delivering safe, efficient and patient-focused pharmacy services. You'll support the dispensing and distribution of medications, assist with inventory management, cashier and reception activities, and may contribute to the preparation and manufacture of pharmaceuticals. Working alongside pharmacists, technicians and other healthcare professionals, you'll help ensure patients receive timely, high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient services.
Whether you're starting your pharmacy career or bringing existing experience, this role offers excellent opportunities to develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. Entry-level Pharmacy Assistants will receive training and support to progress to the next level, while Senior Pharmacy Assistants will take on greater responsibility through workload coordination, staff training and technical support. About You
You are a motivated and customer-focused team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is committed to delivering safe, high-quality pharmacy services.
- Eligible to undertake or hold a relevant Certificate III (or above) in pharmacy or equivalent experience
- Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively, follow procedures and maintain patient confidentiality
- Experience in a pharmacy or service environment with sound computer and data entry skills
