About the Role
The student surveyor role within our Engineering and Project Delivery team will provide you with the opportunity to gain and develop your skills as a surveyor while completing your studies. You will undertake a range of surveying activities, including detail, set-out and boundary surveys, while providing accurate survey data, calculations, plans and technical documentation.
You will utilise modern equipment, CAD and surveying software, to prepare plans and reports, support engineering and project delivery teams with technical and statutory advice and contribute to a variety of projects across the organisation. This role also involves maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, assisting with project delivery requirements, and ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within required timeframes.
About You
We are seeking someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information, identify issues and contribute to practical solutions.
In addition, you will also have:
- Undertaking a degree in Surveying (or a related qualification)
- Current Drivers License
- Current WH&S Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
- Demonstrated understanding of current surveying technology and software including total stations, GPS and AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Experience preparing reports and plans of survey findings and outcomes
Your hourly pay will range from $30.00 to $39.00 + Casual Loading + Superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
