SAGE Environmental Services (SAGE) is seeking a new team member to join our growing, busy practice. SAGE is a highly successful, women run business located in NSW, VIC and QLD. We are specialists in contaminated land and environmental consulting, and pride ourselves in delivering high-quality, pragmatic solutions for our clients. Our core services include:
· Contaminated land environmental auditing and due diligence
· Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessment
· Environmental laboratory auditing and compliance
· Environmental site assessment and remediation
· Health Impact Assessments supporting Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)
· Independent verification, strategy, and contestability
· Expert witness advice
· Cross government collaboration
· Hydrogeology including groundwater modelling
SAGE is looking to hear from recent graduates and early career professionals (1-2 years’ experience) to join our growing team in Melbourne, or Mooloolaba, with qualifications in environmental engineering / science. We are looking for someone to join our team who:
· Can work independently, including working from home if/as required.
· Is interested a dynamic work environment which includes field, laboratory, and office-based work.
· Has excellent written and oral communication skills with strong research capabilities.
· Is highly organised, self-motivated and outcomes oriented.
· Has relevant tertiary qualifications preferably in environmental engineering/ science.
· Is keen to learn and develop skills in all aspects of contaminated land consulting.
· Is available to work on a full-time basis.
· Has a current Australian driver’s licence.
· Has previous work experience. Experience within environmental consulting or similar industries is highly desirable but not mandatory.
