About the Role
Join our Cancer Clinical Trials Unit as an Assistant Clinical Trials Coordinator, supporting research that helps improve patient care. You’ll coordinate trial activities, maintain accurate records and work with teams, patients and partners to deliver quality outcomes.
This is a temporary, full-time position for a term of 12 months. Ongoing employment beyond this term is not guaranteed. Any future selection for ongoing or higher-level positions would be subject to a competitive, merit-based process and dependent on performance, operational requirements and funding availability.
Key Duties
- Support clinical trial planning and delivery activities
- Maintain trial files, databases and accurate records
- Prepare patient visits and coordinate sample collections
- Complete data entry and support trial documentation
- Liaise with teams, sponsors and external partners
- Assist coordinators with day-to-day trial requirements
About You
You are an organised and detail-focused professional with strong administration skills and an interest in supporting clinical research. To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience in clinical or administrative support environments
- Strong Microsoft Office and computer system skills
- Ability to manage data and maintain accurate records
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and quality improvement
