We are looking for talented superstars to join our team!
We are a Music and Key Word Sign program (from Auslan) for children 0 to 6 years. We visit childcare centres across North Brisbane, Moreton Bay and South Brisbane and Ipswich areas.
We are a fun, lively interactive program singing nursery rhymes and original songs, we also move and dance around and sit around the mat to play games.
We have 2 roles
Musician who sings and plays acoustic guitar following the program.
Sing and sign person ( Ideally prefer someone experienced with sign and working with children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing) but will train for the right person.
Strong performance skills are needed, confident singing voice for both roles, with a love of children, bringing a fun happy nature to the classes.
Must be a quick learner and great in a team environment
This is casual contract work during school term times only Monday to Friday
This is morning work only with between 1 to 3 hours each morning. Would suit students, musicians gigging, Early Childhood Educators or similar looking for fun , meaningful, morning work.
We have centres all over Brisbane so reliable transport is a must, must be comfortable driving between classes.
Commitment for at least 12 months, the sign language component takes a long time to learn correctly
Required are ABN Blue card and Public Liability insurance, plus mandatory online child safety training
