Administrative Assistant – General Property
The Role
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to become part of our successful property team. This is a pivotal role within a friendly and highly regarded team, in which you will be supporting several busy lawyers to deliver excellent results for our clients. To make a great fit for this team you will be organised, enthusiastic, and take initiative. You will also enjoy working collaboratively with others in a busy corporate environment and take pride in providing top-level support to your authors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing timely and accurate clerical and administrative support to authors involving:
- File management including opening and closing files and ongoing management of electronic files
- Undertaking statutory body searches
- Organising general and trust account transactions
- Monthly billing processes
- Diary management, coordination of meetings and travel and client correspondence
- Ensuring all legal time deadlines and client-time related service standards are achieved
- Prioritising work received from assigned authors to ensure the best outcome for the authors and clients
- Liaise with internal and external clients via telephone and email
- General administrative duties as required
Essential Experience:
- 1 - 3 years relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail, and skills in prioritisation and time management
- Confidence, flexibility and ability to take a proactive approach to work
- A team player mindset, and desire to work collaboratively with the existing team
- Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of work
