Position Summary
The Bus Driver plays a key role in safely transporting students to and from school while fostering a positive and welcoming environment. This role offers a flexible schedule of approximately 8–11 hours per week, worked across two days before and after school, making it ideal for individuals looking to supplement their current work commitments. There is also the opportunity to support additional College activities, including Sport Days and weekday excursions, for those seeking extra hours.
Requirements

Current Light Rigid (LR) licence.

Current Blue Card (Working With Children Check).

Current Driver Authorisation (or willingness to obtain).

Excellent driving record with a strong commitment to passenger safety.

Reliability and punctuality to ensure consistent and timely transport services.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their daily school experience.

Applicants without a current bus licence who are willing to undertake the required training are encouraged to apply — please note the absence of the licence in your CV.
Selection Criteria

Demonstrated ability to safely operate a bus and manage student behaviour appropriately.

Ability to build positive rapport with students while maintaining a safe and orderly environment.

Strong awareness of road safety, traffic regulations, and risk management.

Proven reliability, punctuality, and consistency in previous roles.

Clear communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with students, staff, and families.

Commitment to upholding the values and expectations of Citipointe Christian College.

Willingness to undertake required training if not currently licensed.
