The Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Early Childhood Teacher
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs for young children in accordance with the EYLF
- Supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing through play-based learning experiences
- Observing and assessing children’s progress and preparing developmental records and reports
- Discussing children’s learning, development and progress with parents
- Supervising and mentoring educators and assistant educators within the room
- Building positive relationships with children, families and team members
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, centre policies and child safety requirements
- Maintaining a safe, healthy and stimulating environment for children
- Participating in staff meetings, professional development and centre improvement initiatives
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification)
- At least 1 year experience working as an early childhood teacher
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
