Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Despatch Operator/Driver to join our manufacturing team on a part-time basis. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to our clients, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
Responsibilities:

Operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Prepare and package products for despatch, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Strong understanding of load restraint principles
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and returns, including documentation and inventory management.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and in the workplace.
Qualifications:

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of CoR responsibilities and load restraints
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
