Casual Fence Labourer / Junior InstallerAbout the Role
Melbourne Fencing Specialists is seeking a reliable and hardworking Casual Fence Labourer / Junior Installer to join our team based in Carrum Downs, VIC.
This is a casual position with consistent work available for the right candidate. You'll work alongside experienced fence installers on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial fencing projects across Melbourne. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and develop valuable trade skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of timber, Colorbond, aluminium, steel, and wire fencing
- Prepare and set out job sites
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Dig post holes, mix concrete, and assist with fence construction
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard
What We're Looking For
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous labouring, fencing, landscaping, or construction experience is advantageous but not essential
- White Card (or willingness to obtain one)
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
