We are a busy and vibrant takeaway burger and kebab shop committed to serving delicious food and providing friendly, high-quality customer service. We are looking for a Junior Kitchen Hand to join our team on a part-time basis.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and reliable junior who is interested in gaining experience in a fast-paced food service environment. You will work closely with our kitchen team and assist with food preparation, cleaning, restocking, and general kitchen duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation, including vegetables, salads, sauces, and other ingredients
- Assist the kitchen team with preparing kebabs, burgers, and takeaway orders
- Help keep the kitchen, preparation areas, and equipment clean and organised
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Restock ingredients and supplies as required
- Assist with packing and organising customer orders
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
- Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff
- Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth and efficient service
About You
The successful candidate will be:

- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Interested in gaining experience in the food and hospitality industry
- Available to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential.
