The headspace Port Augusta service is currently transitioning its Lead Agency arrangements from Country & Outback Health (CObH) to Youturn, following the recent competitive tender process undertaken by Country SA PHN.
CObH is working collaboratively with Youturn throughout the transition to support continuity of service delivery, strong community and stakeholder relationships, and the transfer of local knowledge and expertise. This collaborative approach will help ensure a smooth transition as Youturn prepares to commence as the new Lead Agency.
Are you passionate about mental health and inspired to lead a team of clinicians in delivering outstanding services to our regional communities?
As Centre Manager, you will lead and support a high-performing, collaborative multidisciplinary team while overseeing the centre’s clinical, operational and administrative functions.
You will strengthen service access, engagement and supported transitions for young people, while promoting culturally safe, socially inclusive and youth-friendly care.
The role involves working closely with young people, families and the Youth Reference Group, as well as building strong and effective relationships with Consortium Partners, the Lead Agency, Primary Health Network, headspace National and local service providers.
- You will bring strong leadership, operational and stakeholder management skills, together with a genuine commitment to improving the wellbeing of young people.
- You will be confident working across complex partnerships and passionate about creating accessible, inclusive and high-quality services that make a meaningful difference in the community.
- Have the relevant qualifications in:
- Degree level qualifications in allied health, behavioural/social sciences, mental health nursing, occupational therapy or another health-related discipline.
- Hold full professional registration, accreditation, credentialing or membership relevant to the discipline, including AHPRA registration for psychologists, nurses or occupational therapists, or AASW membership or eligibility for social workers, with mental health credentialing, endorsement or eligibility where applicable.
