Key Responsibilities:
Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
Assist in the development and implementation of governance, risk, and compliance programs
Review and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
Support compliance activities related to industry frameworks and regulatory requirements
Monitor and report on security risks, controls, and remediation activities
Work closely with stakeholders to improve security awareness and risk management practices
Assist with internal and external audits and compliance reviews
Provide recommendations to strengthen security controls and reduce organizational risk
Prepare reports and presentations for management and clients
Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field
Experience in risk management, compliance, cybersecurity, audit, or related areas
Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, or Essential Eight
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Relevant certifications such as Security Plus, ISO 27001, CRISC, CISA, or similar are highly regarded
