We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and energetic individual to join our open space contract with our long-term clients - Hume City Council.
About the Position
Position: Grounds Person (Mower Operator)
Location: Based at our Epping Depot, working in the Hume Council
Employment Type: Full-time
Inclusions: Phone allowance & full PPE provided
Commencement Date: Monday 6th July 2026

Are you great working as part of a team, love achieving quality outcomes and operating machinery daily? Do you also love working outdoors, have an eye for detail and a passion for the open space industry? Then we want to hear from you!
As a valued team member, you will be based out of our Epping Depot and be responsible for daily mowing/detailing of parks, reserves and roadsides. Utilising our wide area mowers, front decks and zero turn machines you will become a vital part of our team with your daily tasks will also include (but not limited to):
- Brush-cutting
- Edging
- Clearing paths
- General open space tidying and litter collection
Position Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in open spaces with zero turn, front decks & wide area mower experience
- Australian work rights are required for this position
- Construction Induction Card (White Card/Red Card)
- Valid Driver's License
- Medium Rigid License (Desirable)
- Traffic Management Certificate/s (Desirable)
- First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
