We are seeking a Credit Coordinator to join our Sydney team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping the firm achieve its cash flow targets through effective credit management, and regular contact with partners and finance support teams. You will also support the National Credit Manager by providing accurate reporting and statistical information.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Achieve monthly budgeted collections targets
- Complete set monthly reporting to the Collections Manager
- Relationship and rapport building with assigned clients and internal stakeholders.
- Using the FIS Get Paid application to record all contact with clients
- Attend to all client billing, costs and supplier set up queries/issues
- Identify and report on bad and doubtful debts
- Improve DSO and drive cashflow
- Perform client credit checks and identity risks
- Escalate applicable debtors within the business
- Adhere and advocate the firms International Credit Policy
- Assist with finance team projects and tasks when requested
About you
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role from a professional services environment
- Strong computer skills and experience in using MS Office tools (in particular Word, Excel, Outlook; PowerPoint)
- High level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence
- A certification in Credit Management or an equivalent
- Self-starting and confident with a high tolerance for ambiguity and a ‘can do’ approach
- The ability to work under pressure at times
- Strong negotiation skills
- Self-organisation skills and possess good time management
- Tech and systems savvy, understanding how credit management platforms work and confident in their process
