Job Description
About the Role
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our HR operations run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll support recruitment, employee lifecycle processes, data integrity, and provide first‑level HR support to managers and employees across the business.
You’ll also work closely with the broader People team on projects and more complex matters, gaining exposure and development as your HR career progresses.
Based in our McMahons Point support office, the role offers a hybrid work model (one week: Mon–Wed in office; the following week: Mon–Thu in office), giving you the flexibility to balance office collaboration with working from home.
What You’ll Be Doing
Support end‑to‑end recruitment activities, including posting roles, screening applications, and shortlisting
Manage the HR inbox alongside the People Administrator and action HR requests
Prepare employment documentation and process HR transactions across onboarding, changes, and offboarding
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with Awards, legislation, and company policies
Provide timely, practical HR advice on low‑level queries, escalating where required
Support managers with consistent performance management practices under guidance from senior HR team members
Assist the People Business Partner and People Advisor with HR matters and projects
Coordinate offboarding activities, including exit surveys and exit interview reporting to identify retention opportunities
Champion NDC values and role model expected behaviours in line with the NDC Code of Conduct
Qualifications

You’re organised, detail‑focused, and enjoy working in a fast‑paced, people‑centric environment. You take pride in delivering quality work and building positive relationships.
You’ll bring:
1–2 years’ experience in HR administration, or a similar role
A qualification in HR, business or a related discipline (desirable but not essential)
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
A collaborative approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive mindset with an interest in continuous improvement
