Selection Criteria

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Relevant post graduate qualifications or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.

Provide an example of a complex clinical or operational incident you managed in a senior nursing leadership role (for example, clinical deterioration, a serious incident, behavioural emergency or resource escalation). What actions did you take, and what was the outcome for patients, staff and the organisation?
Describe a time when you coordinated hospital operations during a period of significant workforce, patient flow or capacity pressures. How did you prioritise competing demands, engage stakeholders and ensure safe patient care?
