The Senior Barber is responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services while also providing mentorship to junior barbers, maintaining client satisfaction, and supporting daily shop operations. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and a strong passion for the barbering industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of barbering services including fades, tapers, scissor cuts, beard trims, and shaves.
- Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
- Ensure all services are delivered to the highest professional standards.
- Mentor and support junior barbers and apprentices.
- Help maintain cleanliness and presentation of the shop according to hygiene standards.
- Manage appointments and client flow to minimize wait times.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of supply needs.
- Handle client feedback and resolve any service issues professionally.
- Promote services, retail products, and shop culture to build clientele.
- Contribute to social media content and shop promotion.
- Uphold health and safety protocols at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional barbering experience.
- Certificate III in Barbering or equivalent qualification.
- Strong technical skills in all modern and classic haircutting techniques.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude.
