Details: Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and draft fit-for-purpose contracts or manage panel arrangements for Territory’s construction‑related services and works. Do you enjoy engaging internal stakeholders to promote procurement and contract excellence?
Infrastructure Canberra is seeking a Senior Contracts Officer and Senior Panels Officer to provide support within the Contracts team and Panels team. iCBR Contracts team works collaboratively and responsively with both Infrastructure Canberra project officers and officers from partner directorates within the ACT Government to ensure timely drafting, preparation and execution of contracts and agreements required in the delivery of construction related services and works. The Senior Contracts Officer will play a crucial role in drafting contracts while working closely with the Assistant Director and Director, Contracts. iCBR Panels Team establish, manage and maintain procurement panels that support the delivery of infrastructure projects and construction-related services. The Senior Panels Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with legislative and policy requirements, support supplier engagement, and promote efficient, value-for-money procurement outcomes for the Territory.

A good understanding of procurement process, contract formation and contracts and panels administration for infrastructure projects.

Experience in supporting procurement activities, contractors and contract management in government setting.

Proven team player who works fast, adapts well to change and contributes to a positive, responsive team culture.

Good communicator with sound interpersonal skills and able to negotiate to achieve required outcomes.

Relevant training and/or qualifications in procurement, contracting or project management are desirable.
Note: There are two temporary positions available:

Senior Contracts Officer - 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027 with possibility of permanency.

Senior Panels Officer - 1 December 2026 for 12 months with possibility of permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
