The Opportunity

You'll support the planning and delivery of marketing and communications activities, crafting engaging content and building positive relationships with key stakeholders. Whether you're coordinating a campaign, supporting a business unit, or helping a community program find its audience, your work will play a real role in connecting people with services that change lives.

What you’ll be doing:
As our Communications Officer, you'll work closely with teams across the organisation to:
- Create and coordinate content that reflects who we are and what we stand for
- Support the delivery of campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and participation
- Ensure our brand shows up consistently and compellingly across every channel both internally and externally.
- Help share the positive impact the Y WA makes in communities every day
You'll be a connector — between our programs and the people who need them, between our story and the wider world.
You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Hold a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Have a genuine interest in using communications to make a positive impact in local communities
- Can build strong working relationships and support stakeholders with their communication needs
- Bring creativity when developing content across digital and social channels
- Are organised and able to manage tasks and projects from brief through to delivery
- Are comfortable reviewing performance and using insights to improve content and campaigns
- Are confident using the MS Office suite and familiar with digital marketing and social media platforms
