Job Title: Business Manager – Employment Services
Location: Bundaberg, QLD (Relocation Support available - Up to $10,000)
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: $122,000 AUD + Super

Role Overview
This is a key leadership role responsible for managing employment services programs across Bundaberg, with a focus on Transition to Work and Inclusive Employment Australia programs.
You will drive performance, manage operations, and lead a team delivering high-quality, strengths-based employment services that support young people into sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day service delivery and team performance
- Drive outcomes against KPIs and contractual targets
- Manage budgets, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Build relationships with employers and community stakeholders
- Identify local employment opportunities and labour market trends
- Coach and develop a high-performing team
About You
Essential Experience & Skills
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Employment Services (or 8–10 years without qualification)
- Strong leadership experience managing teams and service delivery
- Proven ability to meet and exceed performance targets
- In-depth understanding of youth employment challenges and solutions
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, and communication skills
- Ability to identify labour market trends and employer opportunities
- Solid administrative and IT capability with strong attention to detail
Requirements
- Valid Working with Children Check (QLD requirements)
- National Criminal History Check
- Current unrestricted Driver’s Licence
- Ability to meet system and compliance requirements (e.g. myID)
- Commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, and code of conduct standards
