Job Description:
At IPS, you will apply your knowledge, skills and passion to make a difference in the lives of people, solving complex challenges related to pharmaceutical, biotech, and animal health research and manufacturing facilities. We are looking for a BIM Leader / Coordinator to join our ANZ team out of our Melbourne office.
In this role, you will coordinate the use of Revit software to generate 3D models of facilities and equipment for use in design and construction. You will also work on various projects as assigned by a Project Manager/relevant director.
Additionally, you will work with the Engineering and Design Staff which is made up of Architects, Engineers, Design and Project Managers, consultants and our clients to define and implement BIM applications for given projects.
Position Responsibilities

Collaborates with project teams to develop and implement BIM processes and workflows for projects.

Work with the global team to align on our use of standards and systems.

Work with the local team for outputs of models as drawings, walkthroughs etc with a good understanding of software such as TwinMotion, Enscape, etc.

Manage the clash checking process and the overall BIM model coordination when required. Coach others in the approach for these systems.

Coordinates BIM projects with all local team, consultants and our global team to complete projects on schedule and within budget.

Creates and manages project BIM models, including developing and maintaining model standards, templates, and libraries. Coordinating the space management, assisting the team in their efficient use of BIM and setting project standards.

Interactively work with clients and project managers to ensure that BIM deliverables are delivered on time.

Work with the development of extended smart BIM systems as needed, including Digital twins, smart P&ID’s

Ensures model accuracy, consistency, and completeness; including maintaining the model content and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Provides technical support and training to the wider project team on BIM-related tools and workflows. Capable to develop and tailor BIM execution plans.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in developing and managing BIM processes, workflows, and standards.

Extensive previous design experience in BIM design.

Understanding of BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud environment.

Proficient in the use of Revit software including creating and managing complex 3D models and families.

Experienced in model review, navigation, and clash detection using Navisworks.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical facility design and construction processes.

A proficient user of Autocad, ACC, Navisworks, Revit and Plant 3Dsoftware .

Experience in one or more disciplines for developing 3D models of facilities and equipment from early design through to construction.
