Our staff work in partnership with schools, GPs, hospitals, non-government agencies and other organisations to provide care across our centres, in people’s homes, other community venues as well as virtual care (telehealth)
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District is seeking a motivated Speech Pathologist (Level 1/2) to join the Child and Family Health team. This permanent full-time role offers the opportunity to support children and families while building your skills in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
The NBMLHD Child and Family Health (CFH) Speech Pathology team provides services for children under eight years old across the Penrith, Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury Local Government Areas using a primary health care approach, including assessment, intervention, health promotion and education to individual clients and community groups.
The Speech Pathology Team works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapy, counselling and nursing services. In this role, you will deliver family centred, evidence based care and work collaboratively to support early intervention outcomes.
