ReCare Services is seeking full time Social Worker to work within the occuaptional rehabilitation industry. We will provide ongoing training and support to ensure in your success. ReCare Services provides ongoing mentoring and support to help you build confidence and skills needed to succeed in this industry.
Responsibilities and duties
- Management of a caseload of clients and delivery of the highest quality of assessment, counselling, and intervention services
- Provide services that are evidence based, and solution focused for clients returning to work.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.
- Ensure all administrative requirements are adhered to including written reports, case note and processes.
- Liaise with insurance companies to update them on progress.
- Attend external meetings with clients, doctors, and employers.
- Assist clients with job seeking activities which include, reverse marketing, cold-call-canvassing, and online job application.
- Provide clients with independent job seeking skills.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Social Worker (Full member of the Australian Association of Social Workers);
- Current Police Clearance;
- Sound written communication skills are very important;
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving;
- Ability to work autonomously;
- Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach
- Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
- Must have a car and valid Drivers License
