About The Service
KU Kogarah is a warm, welcoming, and thriving 75-place long day care centre, located just a quick 5-minute walk from Kogarah Station. We provide exceptional care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, nurturing their love for learning in a safe and supportive environment.
Our centre features a stunning natural outdoor space, thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and active exploration, offering children endless opportunities to engage with nature and develop new skills.

About The Role
We have an opportunity for an educator with a completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification to join our dynamic team.
This is a part-time position working Thursdays & Fridays (8 hours per day on a rotating roster) on a fixed term contract until the end of 2026.
You will also have access to the KU casual pool for non-contracted days.
About The Criteria
Along with relevant working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF) and a sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), it is essential that you have:
- An ACCEQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- A current and Valid NSW Working with Children Check
- A National Child Safety Training Certificate
- A completed training in Child Protection (CHCPRT025) and an understanding of the legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
