FinXL is seeking a seasoned Solution Lead to guide and manage system integration requirements, services architecture, and overall design within Defence. In this role, you will be responsible for producing and reviewing critical architecture documentation developed across pre-Gate 2 and Acquisition stages to support high-priority capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Defence Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to successfully deliver technical artefacts as per the Design Management Guide.

Provide robust architecture subject matter expertise to ensure delivery complies perfectly with the ICT Technical Assurance Framework (TAF).

Ensure technical solutions, test plans, support frameworks, and certification plans comprehensively meet business and operational requirements.

Identify, evaluate, and present alternative design options and trade-offs to address diverse stakeholder concerns.

Review, verify, and continuously improve designs against rigorous technical specifications.

Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure optimal system-related products and services.

Support the approach to market (ATM) by providing architectural guidance, advice, and additional information as required.

Participate in working groups to develop complex interface control agreements with supporting service providers.

Manage the delivery and outcomes of industry work packages to ensure strict compliance with the statement of work
Technical Skill & Experience:
- Demonstrated 5+ years' experience in mixed Architectural and Solution Delivery across large networks and systems.

Proven ability to interpret complex technical solutions and translate them into valid system specifications and clear recommendations.

Expertise in producing System Design specifications, High-Level Designs (HLD), and Detailed Designs (including interface specs and Operating Concepts).

Strong business acumen to appreciate the operational context in which the systems will operate.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to represent complex architectural concepts in accessible business terms.

Strong listening and negotiation skills to navigate subtle technical and business challenges effectively
