About the role
Join 5 North, a 20-bed General Medicine ward where no two days are the same. Caring for patients with a broad range of acute and complex medical conditions, you'll develop strong clinical skills while gaining experience across a diverse and complex patient cohort. This is an excellent opportunity to build your expertise in General Medicine and deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Working alongside experienced nurses, medical staff, pharmacists and allied health professionals, you'll contribute to a collaborative approach to patient care while being supported to grow your clinical practice. Key Accountabilities
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with acute and complex medical conditions.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide safe, coordinated and person-centred care.
Educate, support and advocate for patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey.
Recognise and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgement.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture while working across a rotating roster.
Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives to support clinical excellence.
About You
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Strong clinical reasoning, prioritisation and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, adaptable and committed to person-centred, high-quality care.
Thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment with a positive team-focused approach.
