WT Tech is looking for a talented social media content creator to lead content creation for our app PhotoShade. No professional experience is required; you just need to be driven, motivated, and ready to experiment and think outside the box. This is a one month contract (with possible extension for the right person), and is expected to require about 8-10 hours of work per week.
You’ll be tasked with creating original and trendy content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube (Shorts). You’ll be in charge of every step of the process: coming up with ideas, filming, editing, and posting. This role is not about creating simple videos demonstrating the app; instead, content should be on trend and creative. Including the app is a bonus, rather than a requirement.
PhotoShade is an iPhone app which lets users search their photos by colour. Users include photographers, designers, people just wanting to look back on memories, and yes, social media content creators.
A successful candidate will be creating videos on day one: an experimental and iterative approach is better than creating the perfect plan.
The role can fit your schedule: there are no fixed working hours, except for the occasional meeting. The position is fully remote and you will be paid $300 per week. Outstanding content that delivers exceptional results will lead to additional remuneration.
Requirements
- Experience creating content for social media (doesn’t have to be professional!)
- Ability to create attention grabbing content
- Keeps up with the latest social media trends
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance
- Are organised and reliable
- Comfortable being on camera
- Have (or able to create) an ABN
- Access to a recent iPhone
