About the role
As a Senior Executive Assistant you will provide high-level executive, administrative and operational support to the Executive Director, enabling effective management of priorities, communications, meetings, stakeholder relationships and key deliverables. You will act as a trusted point of coordination, the role supports the Executive Director to focus on strategic leadership by proactively managing workflow, information and emerging issues.
A regular day will see you:
- Proactively managing the Executive Director’s diary, correspondence, meetings, travel and competing priorities.
- Drafting, coordinating and reviewing reports, briefings, correspondence, presentations, meeting papers and other key documents.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate requests, actions, deadlines and information flow.
- Supporting meeting processes, issue resolution, people-related administration, expenses and other operational requirements.
About you
You are highly organised, proactive and professional, with the ability to exercise judgement, discretion and initiative in a complex and fast-paced environment. You build strong working relationships, communicate confidently and are comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail.
You’ll bring with you:
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive, administrative or secretarial support to a senior leader or executive.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and complex workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft, edit and coordinate correspondence, briefings, reports, presentations and meeting materials.
- A knack for building productive relationships, with the ability to professionally represent the organisation while navigating the complexities of a healthcare and government environment.
- Sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality when managing sensitive information, emerging issues and executive-level priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in coordinating diaries, meetings, documentation, travel, expenses and administrative processes.
