You enjoy solving problems in a complex environment to deliver the best outcomes for millions of people.
This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.
In this role, you'll:
Join our Operations Program Management team where you will lead the delivery of complex and high-profile programs that support the successful implementation of major transport initiatives across Sydney.
Working in a dynamic environment, you’ll bring together people, processes and projects to ensure strategic priorities are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to operational and customer outcomes. You’ll manage a portfolio of interconnected Go-Live projects, providing oversight across planning, governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement and risk management.
Through your leadership and expertise, you’ll identify opportunities to improve business processes, drive efficiencies and deliver outcomes that create value for both customers and the organisation. You’ll build strong relationships across Transport for NSW and with external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on complex issues and emerging risks.
You'll apply your strategic thinking and practical delivery mindset to navigate competing priorities, influence decisions and support the successful delivery of key operational and program objectives.
You will:
Manage a portfolio of complex projects and programs from planning through to delivery.
Establish project governance, reporting frameworks and delivery plans to achieve successful outcomes.
Drive process improvements that enhance business performance, operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
Monitor project progress, budgets, risks and milestones, providing clear recommendations and reporting to support decision-making.
Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies that support project objectives.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and align project outcomes to strategic priorities.
Provide expert advice on project delivery, emerging issues and risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborate across teams and business units to ensure successful delivery of interconnected projects and initiatives.
This is a permanent full time position offering hybrid working options from our Elizabeth Street Sydney office.

About you
You’re an experienced program, project management professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys bringing clarity and structure to large-scale initiatives. You have a track record of successfully delivering projects with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and tight deadlines, while maintaining a focus on quality outcomes and customer value.
You bring strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, allowing you to build trust and credibility with senior leaders, technical specialists and operational teams alike. You know how to navigate differing priorities, facilitate productive conversations and achieve outcomes in environments where collaboration is critical to success.
You’re a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a practical delivery mindset. You use data, insights and sound judgement to make decisions, manage risks and identify opportunities for improvement. At the same time, you remain adaptable and resilient, confidently managing ambiguity and change while keeping projects moving forward.
You’re an effective communicator who can translate complex information into clear and meaningful messages for a variety of audiences. Supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent experience, you bring a strong foundation in program and project delivery, along with a commitment to continuous improvement, accountability and delivering results.
