The Embassy of Chile in Australia is seeking a professional, reliable and responsible Official Driver to join our team in Canberra.
Based at 10 Culgoa Circuit, O’Malley ACT 2606, the successful applicant will be responsible for the safe and professional operation of the Embassy’s official vehicle, providing transportation to the Ambassador and Embassy officials.
The role will also involve general operational support, including document delivery, vehicle record keeping and coordination of routine vehicle maintenance, as well as assisting with official events and receptions.
Key responsibilities
- Safely and professionally transport the Ambassador and Embassy officials.
- Operate and maintain the Embassy’s official vehicle to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate vehicle records and coordinate routine servicing and maintenance.
- Undertake document and official deliveries as required.
- Provide general operational and logistical support to the Embassy.
- Assist with official events, receptions and other Embassy activities.
- Perform duties with a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
About you
The successful applicant will have:
- Australian permanent residency and full working rights in Australia.
- A current and valid Australian driver’s licence and a safe driving record.
- Basic digital skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A professional, discreet and reliable approach.
- A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
Previous experience as a professional, corporate, government or diplomatic driver will be highly regarded.

Position details
