About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Stonemason to join our stone production team.
The successful applicant will work within our Armadale factory, assisting with the cutting, machining, polishing and preparation of stone products. This is a permanent, full-time position offering stable Monday-to-Friday hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating stone-cutting saws and CNC machinery and hand tools
- Cutting, shaping and preparing stone components
- Polishing and finishing stone products
- Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and measurements
- Completing quality checks to ensure work meets specifications
- Handling materials safely and correctly
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Working efficiently as part of the wider production team
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience working within the stone, manufacturing or building industry
- Have stonemasonry qualifications or relevant industry experience
- Have CNC, saw-operating or stone-polishing experience
- Be hardworking, reliable and trustworthy
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Take pride in producing quality workmanship
- Be safety-conscious
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Hold valid Australian working rights
