Cellar Person – North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Supporters Club
North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Supporters Club is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cellar Person to join our team. About the Role
This is a hands-on position responsible for keeping our bars stocked, organised, and operating efficiently. You'll play an important behind-the-scenes role, ensuring our beverage operations run smoothly.
The position offers 10 hours per week, with regular Thursday daytime shifts. Additional hours may also be available to assist with cellar preparation and stock management ahead of major events and peak trading periods, including occasions such as Teachers' Day, New Year's Eve, and other events.
About You
You're reliable, physically fit, and enjoy working as part of a team. You take pride in maintaining high standards and aren't afraid of hard work.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a cellar, warehouse, hospitality, or similar manual handling role is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to perform regular heavy lifting, including moving kegs, cartons, and beverage stock.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Availability for regular Thursday daytime shifts, with flexibility to assist during key event preparation periods throughout the year.
- Current RSA (or willingness to obtain one).
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Please Note
This role involves regular heavy lifting and manual handling. Due to the weekday daytime availability requirements, this position is not suitable for school-aged applicants.
