We are recruiting experienced Support Workers to join a structured support environment supporting an individual with complex psychosocial, behavioural and mental health support needs.
This is a unique opportunity for Support Workers seeking consistent, ongoing shifts and the chance to build a genuine long-term support relationship with the same participant.
The participant enjoys an active lifestyle and values authentic connection, conversation, community participation and outdoor activities. This role will particularly suit support workers who enjoy fishing, camping, walking, driving, sport, community events, recreational outings and spending time outdoors.
We are seeking professionals who are confident communicators, naturally engaging, and able to build trust through shared interests, everyday conversation and meaningful community participation.

The Environment
You will be working within a clinically informed support model requiring:
- Consistent, structured support delivery
- Strong adherence to Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
- Confidence managing behaviours of concern
- High situational awareness and proactive risk management
- Strong communication with operational and clinical leadership
- Relationship-based support focused on stability, engagement and long-term outcomes
The Role
Supports may include:
- Community access and recreational engagement
- Fishing, outdoor activities and lifestyle-based supports
- Building routines and structured support approaches
- Supporting emotional regulation and reducing escalation
- Personal care and home-based assistance
- Working within 1:1 and at times 2:1 support models
- Maintaining accurate documentation and communication
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in disability, SIL, mental health or complex behavioural support environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting behaviours of concern
- Strong BSP implementation experience
- Proven ability to remain calm during escalations
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Current Driver Licence
- Confidence supporting participants within community-based environments
- Strong professional boundaries and accountability
