Located in the foothills of the Dandenong's, Glengollan Village is a non-denominational, not-for-profit organisation offering resident focused care. Spanning approximately 15 acres, Glengollan has 147 independent living units, as well as a 90 bed residential aged care facility. Our mission is to provide excellence in care, wellness, lifestyle and housing options in a supportive & connected, homelike community. The facility is close to Ferntree Gully and Boronia Railway Stations and has bus stops directly outside the property.
We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Permanent Part Time Grade 1 Registered Nurse who is interested in morning shifts at our facility.
About the role
Reporting to the on duty RN In Charge & Clinical Care Coordinator you will be responsible for;

Ensuring care is person-centred and delivered to a high standard.

Ensuing that nursing histories, care plans, medication and any other records are properly maintained
-
Ensuring wounds and infections are documented and attended to
-
Promoting resident independence, dignity, and choice
-
Communicating effectively with residents, families, and health professionals
-
Contributing to the dementia care philosophy

Working collaboratively with in the team
Requirements:
-
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
-
Recent experience in aged care or similar healthcare setting (preferred)
-
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently

Excellent communication and documentation skills

A caring, responsible nature and the ability to provide the highest quality of care to our residents
