We’re looking for a motivated Transport & Dock Coordinator to join our team, someone who understands the fast pace of the transport industry and is ready to step into a role where they can make a bigger impact.
If you’ve spent time on the road, in dispatch, or around depot operations and want to transition into a coordination role with more responsibility, this is your opportunity.
About the Role
In this key role, you’ll be at the heart of our logistics operation - coordinating freight movements, managing dock scheduling, and ensuring freight flows efficiently from arrival to dispatch.
This is the perfect role for someone who knows transport from the ground up and is ready to move into planning and coordination.
We have two roles available with varying start and finish times, with the rosters being:
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Sunday to Thursday
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating daily transport schedules and dock allocations
- Managing inbound and outbound freight movements
- Communicating with drivers, warehouse teams, and external partners
- Ensuring safe, efficient loading and unloading processes
- Monitoring delivery timelines and resolving delays proactively
- Maintaining accurate records, documentation and data entry into our TruckMate System
- Supporting continuous improvement in transport operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in the transport, logistics, or freight industry
- Strong understanding of depot, dock, or driver operations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Confidence using systems and coordinating multiple priorities
- Possess computer skills
